GEN 45; MARK 15; JOB 11; ROM 15

IN 2 TIMOTHY, PAUL SAYS THE SCRIPTURES MAKE US WISE UNTO SALVATION.  THROUGH GOD'S CREATION WE HAVE ENOUGH EVIDENCE TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE, WITHOUT EXCUSE, BUT IT IS THROUGH THE SCRIPTURES THAT WE COME TO SEE JESUS.  JESUS IS THE AUTHOR AND FINISHER OF OUR FAITH.  SPEND SOME TIME TODAY IN THE WORD "SEEING JESUS".  IN TODAYS READING, IN ROMANS 15:4 PAUL TELLS US

"For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope."

WE SEE THE FAITHFULNESS OF GOD THROUGHOUT THE BIBLE.  BE ENCOURAGED THAT GOD, WHO WAS FAITHFUL THROUGHOUT THE AGES TO HIS PEOPLE, IS STILL FAITHFUL TODAY TO THE PEOPLE OF GOD.  THAT IS NOT TO SAY LIFE WILL BE WITHOUT TRIAL AND CONFLICT.  CHRIST BRINGS ABOUT CHANGE IN OUR LIVES THAT CAN ONLY COME AT TIMES THROUGH SUFFERING.  BUT CHRIST IS IN THE MIDST.
